Levenshulme Youth Project – Play sessions

LYP specialises in the provision of play and leisure opportunities for young people with additional needs age 8 – 12 years old. We believe in equality of opportunity for all. We strive to create a positive and happy inclusive environment where everyone is valued and achievements are celebrated. We are an open access provision.
We are commissioned by Great Places Housing Group to provide activities for young people all year round. The project provides trained play workers who accompany young people at activities after school and during the school holidays. We aim to respond to needs as they arise and have staff working in a variety of venues in Levenshulme. We currently run on a Wednesday evening at Northmoor Community Association.
We also run day trips and activity days for young people during the holidays.
