We applied and got a small grant from Manchester City Council to put on an Awareness Event during Hate Crime Awareness week (5th-11th Feb 2018). We had 38 people attend the event, the aim of which was to raise awareness, increase reporting and celebrate diversity. We also had 3 volunteers supporting us on the day…
Our neighbours Youth Elements, at 91 Northmoor Road, Longsight, M12 5RT, are running a GCSE Surgery. The sessions run from 11am to 2pm on Tuesday 26th and Friday 29th May.
Sheba Arts are hosting the exhibition Still We Rise at our neighbours, Longsight Art Space (89 Northmoor Road) until Friday 19th June. The exhibition is open from 10am to 5pm until Friday 19th June. 34 people from the local area attended our second Hate Crime Awareness event on 10th September 2018 which was made possible by finding from Manchester City Council and their Lets End Hate Crime campaign.
